Well this morning whilst checking IA's "cars for sale" section, I noticed Jon's thread for selling the Z was a the top... so I clicked.

Krytdrgn wrote:

I can't help to think or comment on that remark.
Way to blow his own damn horn.

Kris/Jesse... nothing wrong w/ ya'll, but this must be the dumbest comment I've heard in 2007.

Bike looks good, but I have never been a fan of salvage titles...

Also Rob check out the bike forums usually cheaper prices can be found, and this local one for used bikes as well...

OK, I finally got all the parts I needed for the TBE install. I was thinking if I could swing by one of your places so I can get some needed help, tools and expertise. Robb, I was wondering if I could stop by your place since you have that ginormous garage with lots of empty space.=)

Also I checked Importlounge today and found this waiting for me...

Jonathan I am sorry you feel that I was out to just take your money. But I did everything I could to help you while I was at Knowledge I think the last time I saw you there I had already stopped working there. If you don't mind me asking what was the final verdict on your car?
Also I had nothing to do with Knowledge closing without notifing any of there customers. I had been gone for well over a year when they decided to close. I hardly come on any of these forums anymore but when I saw your post on here it really bothered me. So I had to send out a reply
By the way do you still talk to jessie? Anyway I don't know how else I can help but if you feel you need contact me my cell #770 316-1307
Thanks for your time

Who is this? It seems that every shop has good and bad experiences. And sorry to say I was one of them, though my other friends still consider when you guys were open as a place they would still go to.

At the time I was very unhappy about how things went down near the end of the install (like finding out the guy who was doing the install was not correctly reading the instructions and using other parts when the parts in the kit were correct along with you guys giving me the feeling that after I paid then rushed out the door and the problems were mine to deal with alone). Hence the "you got your money" stuff.

There was a couple of ideas on the cause of the richness at 5500 rpms... Either the fact that the fuel pump was not correctly modified (instructions required some drilling into the fuel pump and housing), and/or the ECU re-flash program having the issue...

So I ended up spending a lot more money than I had originally planned on a full return fuel system with fuel pressure regulator (to make sure the fuel pressure was spot on), and the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate (to replace the ECU flash program).

Though after my negative experience at Knowledge I found a much better shop and person at Forged Performance who not only did what was asked and expected but if any issues arrise is the first one to help find out why then fix it. Which is why he and his shop are highly regarded in the Z/G35 community.

I do still hang out with Jesse, and I ended up selling the Z in order to get my bills in order. So need for any help, that was years ago. I thank you for the gesture though.

Jonathan

Weird.

Well it seems like someone from Knowledge not sure who... And I don't remember saying that they were just out to take my money on any forum, though I did say that after taking my money (after I paid) they seemed to be more interested in me leaving then helping me with my issues (the low boost and richness problems I had after the install originally).

This PM was from Importlounge, though someone could have told him from word of morth or something.

Regardless it doesn' t bother me, just weird message after all this time.

Yeah Randy told me after they were leaving the Braves game, it was raining plenty though at my house... Weather reports were different, but figured the rain would keep folks away.

Anywho who, that sucks but makes sense.

Been okay. Trying to get everything moved into my new house. I really needed some of that African muscle to move some stuff though.

Also looks like my deal on the motor is falling through. Don't say anything on the other boards though cause I'm still trying to work it out. I'll say more once things are done.
